WHO WE ARE

The Compton Complete Count Committee (CCC), is a volunteer committee established to increase awareness and motivate residents to respond to the 2020 Census in the City of Compton.

CCCs serve as state and local “ambassador” groups that plan an integral part in ensuring a complete and accurate count of the community in the 2020 Census. Members appointed are representative of the community and are willing to serve until the census is over, and help implement a creative outreach campaign in areas that may pose a challenge in 2020.

The Census2020 helps to determine how more than $675 billion in federal funds are distributed each year to support vital programs in states and communities across the country. These funds shape local health care, housing, education, transportation, employment, and public policy.

WHAT WE DO

Educate, Motivate and Activate residents of Compton.

Committee members are ambassadors for the Census 2020 count in Compton and help to create and implement a creative outreach campaign to reach every sector of our community.

As a committee member, you will join a powerful network of government, nonprofit, corporate, and community organizations. Together, we can develop solutions to effectively reach everyone in Compton and encourage them to respond to the 2020 Census.
